The Navi 22 graphics processor is a large chip with a die area of 335 mm² and 17,200 million transistors. Additionally, the DirectX 12 Ultimate capability guarantees support for hardware-raytracing, variable-rate shading and more, in upcoming video games. This ensures that all modern games will run on Radeon RX 6700. Built on the 7 nm process, and based on the Navi 22 graphics processor, in its Navi 22 XTL variant, the card supports DirectX 12 Ultimate. It's not just the AMD Radeon GPUs that are witnessing a good boost in OpenGL performance but so are the Ryzen APUs that utilize RDNA 2 graphics architecture. That's an improvement of 2.3x which is simply insane. One test result shows 7759 points with the older and 17814 points with the new drivers on the AMD Radeon RX 6800 graphics card and the other shows 7496 points with the old and 16592 points with the new drivers on the same graphics card.
